The visual starting point for this was a kind of lens-flare, sun-in-the-eyes, playing with collage as a kind of in the corner of your eye image trickery. Thematically, exploring the vintage advertisements of this idealised hyper-heterosexuality, with the homemaker, breadwinner roles. Cutting it all up and putting it back together to try and digest it.
